Description
Report on progress against the plan, recommend changes based on an ongoing assessment of HSE performance and risk management.- HSE representative in client and site daily and weekly project management meetings as needed
- To ensure that every person in the company follows company
safety policies required under the law. - Conduct risk assessments and list all the possible ways to reduce likelihood and severity.
- Regularly inspect the work areas to ensure that company policies and procedures are followed.
- Ensure that the company supports safe working practices and complies with the law.
- Support the development of H&S strategies and plans.
- Record and review all workplace accidents and incidents for reporting and statistical purposes.
- Keep up to date with Health, safety and environmental legislation that will affect the company.
- Assist with creating management reports, including bulletins, newsletters, and toolbox talks.
- Ensure all equipment is operated safely.
- Ensure disposal of all waste and hazardous substances are carried out in line with safely and environmental legislation.
- Support the management team to maintain and improve ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 accreditation.
Qualifications Educational Requirements**:
- Level 3 qualification in Occupational Health and Safety Management eg NEBOSH General Certificate [Essential]
- ISO 450001:2018 and ISO 45001:2018 internal auditor experience [Desirable]
- Working knowledge of Environmental legislation and practices [Desirable]
Key Technical Skills:
- Experience in HSE support of large projects, particularly oil and gas and marine projects.
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills (including presentation skills).
- Strong problemsolving skills.
- Capable of working with processes & procedures
- Clear & concise communicator
- Good understanding of customers & their requirements.
- Good planning & organisational skills.

- Ability to work effectively across multiple boundaries
- Able to build effective & productive customer relationships.
