Description

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Care Assistant working daytime hours in a care home located in the town of Ripley, Derbyshire.


The 18-bed home provides a high quality, safe and personalised service that promotes choice, dignity, control, and quality of life for all service users.


As a Care Assistant at this home, you will aid the service user's mobility and nutritional needs, whilst ensuring that physical and psychological wellbeing is the utmost priority.

You will also take an active role in the day-to-day activities of the service users to keep them engaged and motivated.


The home specialises in supporting people with enduring mental health difficulties who require 24hr nursing support due to their complex needs and/or challenging behaviour.

Experience & Qualifications:

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this.

We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep

  • Have referenceable work history
  • Hold indate mandatory training certificates (inc. moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)
  • Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service
  • Have a minimum of 3 months paid UK work experience working within a care setting.
