Are you looking to work for a renowed PLC? Are you open to considering hybrid or remote work?

This established Leicestershire PLC needs support within the financial reporting team. They are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant for 6 months. It is essential that you are available at short notice to start this assignment.

This position offers variation and a challenge You will be responsible for the accounting of several areas with a prime focus on overseeing fixed assets and providing technical accounting updates.

You will collaborate and partner with several stakeholderswhile managing and supporting IFRS 16 accounting, liaising with the Property team.

You can perform balance sheet reconciliations on a variety of accounts, presenting these at balance sheet review meetings. You will forecast IFRS 16 costs and assist with the CAPEX forecast, identifying any variances. You will also deal with year-end auditqueries and develop strong relationships with stakeholders inside and outside of finance.

You will be an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with strong financial acounting skills and experience of month and year-end procedures.

Your strong technical accounting knowledge will help you to manage your stakeholders effectively and work to tight deadlineswith a high level of accuracy.
