Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live.

Last year over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of million hours of their time to our organisation.

Would you like to join our growing team of volunteers, and make a real difference?

Making the decision to enter treatment can be an intimidating experience for the

people we support. You can make a difference.

As a Volunteer with Change Grow Live you'll work with people who use our services,

helping them get to where they want to be.

At Change Grow Live we strive to ensure our services are warm and welcoming

environments and your role will play a key part in achieving this.

Responsibilities:

Volunteering at Change Grow Live
***- Volunteers contribute to Change Grow Live in a variety of ways. From Admin Volunteers to Service User Reps, from Peer Mentors to Healthcare Support Volunteers, from Independent Visitors to Community Mentors each volunteer brings a unique set of skills and talents. We are incredibly grateful for all that volunteers do to support our service users.

Most of our volunteer opportunities don't need any special qualifications. We'll make sure you get all the training and support you need. All we ask is that you're kind, openminded and passionate about supporting people.
Everyone is welcome at Change Grow Live. As a volunteer you will be treated with respect and accepted for who you are. You don't need to have personal experience of drug and alcohol recovery to get involved
Training Dates:
Training will be held every Tuesdays 10am14.00pm Between 21st
May 2nd
July 2024

Attendance on training dates is an essential part for the volunteer role, please check training dates and your availability to attend all training sessions, all training is QLS accredited.

Training modules:
Mandatory: Volunteer induction training P1: 21/05/ am2.30pm
Mandatory: Volunteer Induction P2: 28/05/ am2.30pm
Mandatory: Boundaries/Confidentiality training: 04/06/ am2.30pm
Required: Alcohol awareness training: 11/06/ am2.30pm
Required: Drug awareness training: 18/06/ am2.30pm
Required: Harm reduction 101 training: 25/06/ am2.30pm
Required:

Naloxone Training: 10/10/ am-12pm
