Accountant

30k to 40k - depending on experience

Leigh-On-Sea, Essex

Office based
Established in 1974, our client is an independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisors. They offer a comprehensive range of accountancy and business advisory services to private individuals and companies in many sectors. Our client providesa cost-effective, high value solution to meet all of their clients financial needs.

They work hard to get to know their clients in order to deliver timely, individual advice on how to improve business and personal wealth.

Experience needed;

  • 5+ years experience in an accountancy firm
  • Track record of experience
  • Quickbooks
  • Sage
  • Xero
  • Proficient in excel
Responsibilities on a day to day basis;

  • Manage a portfolio of clients
  • Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and Limited companies.
  • Prepare company and personal tax returns
  • Prepare quarterly VAT returns
  • Review work completed by junior staff
  • Liaise with clients on a regular basis
  • Maintain accounting records and prepare management accounts.
  • Proficiency with accounting software
