Gateshead


Salary:
£27,040 per annum. Plus, On Call Allowance and Mileage.


Hours: 40 per week


Key Responsibilities

  • Assess children and young people's support needs.
  • Observe and shadow children at home and at school.
  • Write and review care plans and risk assessments.
  • Plan and communicate support rota's.
  • Induct, mentor and observe new staff.
  • Deliver support and introduce support workers to children and their families.
  • Provide on call, telephone support for staff delivering care. (On a rota basis).

Skills and Qualifications
- loves working with children and families,
- likes to be active and likes to work in different environments and with different people
- is confident with computers and using software like Excel, Word and Outlook.
- is keen to develop and progress in their career

  • Is passionate about making a difference to the lives of children and young people with disabilities.
