Global Academy of Agriculture and Food Systems, College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine, Charnock Bradley Building, Easter Bush Campus

Open-ended (permanent) contract

Full time, 35 hours per week, with hybrid working from home option (part-time applicants considered)


We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and proactive office administrator to provide professional support to senior members of the Global Academy of Agriculture and Food Security, including providing support to the Director and Business Manager and cover in the absence of the Centre Administrator.

This role would suit an individual looking to join a dynamic and busy team, whilst also working independently, with mínimal supervision.


The Opportunity:


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrative assistant to join the Global Academy of Agriculture and Food Systems, based at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, Easter Bush Campus.


The Global Academy of Agriculture and Food Systems is a multidisciplinary team of researchers and teaching experts who support decisions to transform agri-food systems and food security across the globe.


Your skills and attributes for success

  • Good range of MS Office skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Experience of arranging meetings / managing diaries
  • Previous work in a similar office administration role
  • Experience of minute taking
