Power2 is a fast growing and energetic youth charity that has supported 25,000 young people since 2001. We are based in the North West of England and London and deliver early-intervention asset-based programmes to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds who have mental wellbeing challenges and are disengaged from school and more widely. We are well-known for our accredited Teens and Toddlers programme.
We believe there is no greater cost to society than unfulfilled potential.
We support young people to get the most out of their education by helping them to improve their mental health and wellbeing and develop their skills.
We inspire young people who are at significant risk of school exclusion to re-engage and fulfil their potential at school, at work and in life.
We are seeking a dynamic, ambitious and values-driven Communications Officer to provide communications and external affairs support to further raise the profile of Power2.
You will support the Communications Manager to make the best use of digital platforms and systems to reach external audiences and you will produce high quality materials that convey our messaging to external audiences, in simple and attractive formats that align with our brand.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supporting the management of the Power2 website, newsletters, content and assets, and oversight of our social media activity.
You'll be passionate about helping young people to reach their full potential and about your own learning and development.
We operate hybrid working, and this role will be based at our London office, with one or two days working in the office per week.
- Power2 is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We may undertake an online search if you are shortlisted._
