Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Next Day Transport Supervisor to join our team.
The Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the next day transport team within the company, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards, and providing operational guidance to the management team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the next day transport team operations
- Oversee driver activites
- Prepare runs, routes and reports for management
- Develop and monitor kpi reporting systems
- Implement and maintain commensurate controls and procedures
- Analyse data to support strategic decisionmaking
- Ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during annual audits
Experience:
- Proven experience in transport and warehouse operations in a transport company
- Strong knowledge of transport principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
