A venture backed stealth mode start-up company are on the lookout for an experienced Data Scientist to join their team.


The Data Science Role


This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Data Scientist to be the first Data Science hire within the start up and take full ownership of the data.

You will work alongside the teams' developers and engineers to build the components of their platform.

Roles and responsibilities could include designing and building models to be deployed in production scale and building ETL pipelines including in Airflow.

As the company grows it would be the intention that this Data Scientist will build out the team further.


Data Scientist Requirement

The required skills for the role are:

  • A BSc or higher in a quantitative discipline from a Top Global University
  • Excellent Python programming proficiency
  • Exposure to building ETL pipelines
  • Machine Learning or mathematically modelling experience
  • Experience having ownership of their company's data
  • Start up experience within eCommerce or FinTech domains would be highly desirable
In return you will receive a salary of between £70,000 and £100,000 D.O.E. as well as stock options and a healthy benefits package.
