I am currently working with a well-established and growing engineering business based in Cannock who are a sub-contract sheet metal working company.

Due to an internal promotion, they now have a requirement for a Press Brake Setter/Operator to join their existing team on the shop floor.

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Press Brake Setter/Operator will be using Trumpf press brakes of 130T and 170T; however, if you have knowledge or experience of other press brake machines cross-training can be given.

A good knowledge of press brake machines, preferably Trumpf.
The ability to read engineering drawings.
Gained previous experience in a similar role.
Good communication skills.

In return the Press Brake Setter/Operator can expect to receive a competitive salary, 33 days flexible holiday entitlement and free onsite parking.

The working hours for this role will be 8am - 4pm with 30 minutes lunch, however, a degree of flexibility will be expected if there is the requirement to cover other shifts.
