  • To start immediately
  • Full time (40 hours/week)
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave + noncontractual 2 weeks at Christmas

Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as first line contact for the Head of School
  • Assist the Executive Assistant in maintaining a smoothrunning and efficient office by dealing with all administrative functions and anticipating and scheduling regular events and meetings
  • Manage the Head's diary and appointments
  • Assist with communication to the community and external stakeholders
  • Organise the logistics and communications of certain groups' visits (AEFE, CIS, ISI,etc)
  • Undertake any adhoc duties as requested by the Head

What we are looking for

  • Native level English, ideally some knowledge of French
  • Able to respect utmost confidentiality regarding all information relating to this post
  • Experience of managing a diverse workload
  • Confident communicator, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organised, with an ability to selfplan and prioritise workloads, along with planning work schedules for others
  • Able to work alongside all members of staff with the ability to show tact, diplomacy and professionalism at all times
  • Ability to touch type
  • High level of IT skills including Word and Excel. Knowledge of Google Docs preferable
  • Ideally training as a clerk.

The post holder may be required from time to time to undertake other duties within the School as may be reasonably expected, without changing the general character of the duties or the level of responsibility entailed.
