Progress Teachers are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Food Technology Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team This role is to commence
immediately.
As a
Food Technology Assistant, you will be responsible for**:
- Practical Demonstrations**: Facilitate handson practical sessions, providing guidance and support to students as they explore and develop their culinary skills.
- Resource Preparation: Assist in the preparation of materials and resources for lessons, ensuring a well-organized and conducive learning environment.
- Collaborative Approach: Work closely with the teaching staff to create an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere, promoting teamwork and creativity.
- Progress Monitoring: Help in tracking and monitoring students' progress, providing constructive feedback to contribute to their development.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for food and the culinary arts.
- Relevant qualifications or experience in food technology or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and adaptability in working with students of varying abilities.

Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
- DBS on the update service (preferred)
