Job Title:
Production Operative,

SharkEye Wheel Aligners are global leaders in the design and manufacture of precision wheel alignment tools for automotive workshops.


We are a growing company with increasing global exports, because of this we need reliable and hardworking individuals to join us on this exciting journey to help us expand even further.

The role of Production Operative will involve working in a small team under the guidance of the Production Manager. You will be responsible for helping prepare and assemble components into precision wheel aligners.

A key part of the assembly process is to meet set targets in order that our aligners are ready for dispatch on time and to retain our reputation for excellent customer service.

SharkEye Wheel Aligners are high precision products and our customers rely on this, so excellent attention to detail is essential.


Working hours are - 30 hours per week, 9am - 3pm, Monday to Friday (school hours)
This role provides the opportunity for you to learn new skills and progress within the company.


Duties:


  • Preparation of and organisation of parts ready for the build of wheel aligners
  • Final assembly of the prepared parts into a fully completed unit ready for dispatching to the customer
  • Achieving daily KPI (Key Performance Indicators)
  • Maintaining a well organised and tidy production area.
  • Reporting any issues that may affect production or dispatch to the Production Manager.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Excellent dexterity
  • Being an enthusiastic and hardworking individual with good communication skills in order to fit into a close
- knit team environment as part of a rapidly expanding business

  • Having previous experience of mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment would be desirable, although full training will be given
  • Being able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality record is crucial
  • Have a flexible approach
  • Good Numeracy and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude to work
  • Respectful and helpful to others
  • Happy to take instruction and learn from others as well as working on own initiative.
  • This role is open to all age groups.
  • Minimum wage specific to age group applies.
  • Evidence of relevant qualifications and work experience should be provided at interview.

Part-time hours: 30 per week


Salary:
£7.49-£10.42 per hour
