The Company:

The Role:


  • General office administration (sorting, processing and filing of financial paperwork, booking travel and accommodation, and maintaining office sundries).
  • Process journals, prepayments, accruals, purchase invoices and receipts.
  • Oversee monthly credit card transactions and purchase orders.
  • Support monthly payroll, the preparation of monthly reporting, quarterly management accounts and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Enable and manage the development of internal systems for financial governance and compliance. E.g. a system for compliance checks for customers and businesses partners (KYC, ABC, AML)
  • Be prepared to undertake wider support tasks as required by the business.
  • Have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Be selfmotivated and capable of working on own initiative.
  • Prioritise effectively and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Have (or be willing to work towards) a recognised accounting qualification (e.g. AAT, ICB, etc), or have previous experience working in a similar role.
  • Be driven to grow professionally in knowledge, experience and responsibility.
  • Experience in the use of accounting software, ideally Sage 50.
  • A demonstratable aptitude to learn and develop new skills.
  • An interest in developing a holistic understanding of the business.
  • A future desire to pursue ACCA or CIMA certification.
