Axon Moore have been briefed on a very exciting Head of FP&A role for a rapidly expanding projects and contracting business based in Leeds.
The business is privately owned, has a turnover approaching £200m and is continually growing year on year.This is a new role within the organisation and represents a step change for the business as it readies itself for future growth and reorganisation.
The Head of FP&A will be responsible for the following duties:- Supporting C-Suite and Director stakeholders with vital MI, Data and Business Insights
- Establishing a new FP&A department within the business, with the potential to build a team in the near future
- Carrying out high level analysis of existing contractual agreements, setting KPI's, assessing profitability and ensuring adequate reporting procedures are in place
- Scenario modelling of business outcomes and growth opportunities
- Assessing viability of existing projects, suggesting ways of recommending and challenging existing agreements
- Understanding and reporting on variance analysis
- Managing high level data and understanding of key business drivers, involving detailed management of spreadsheets and reports, interrogating data and reporting on key trends
- Qualified finance leader, ideally with experience within a Project or Contracting based industry
- Must have experience at a senior level within an FP&A (or similar) role
- Experience within a large scale, complex business would be particularly relevant, as the business seeks to expand and become a larger, more mature business with increased scale and complexity
