Description

An exciting opportunity as arisen for an experienced supply chain coordinator will join a reputable and fast-growing business specialising particularly within facilities and security services within the property market, offering a broad range of its customersa tailor-made approach.

You will be responsible for the supervision of the inbound and outbound communications without subcontractors and supply chain needs.

You will play a key part in the buying and delivery process of services and the placement and delivery of purchase orders.

This role is varied and can be fast-paced therefor will require individuals to be well organised and able to work under pressure towards deadlines.

Location - Enfield, Middlesex
Salary - £30-35k Depending on experience (negotiable)
Your duties will include

  • To manage the buying and delivery process of multiple services as part of various projects on behalf of our clients.
  • Followup with contractors to ensure that the purchase orders have the correct price, charge, and delivery date
  • Recruit and onboard subcontractors
  • Create new processes and adhere to existing ones for purchasing, quoting and monitoring supply chain
  • You will go to market and find the best rates possible; 3 quotes will be preferred where possible for each project
  • You will form good relationships with our supply chain ensuring regular contract meetings are held and all communication is upkept
  • You will be responsible for the discovery of new suppliers where needed and onboard with all appropriate certification and accreditation
  • You need to work closely with the FM and Sales departments as well as be responsible for preparing and sharing with the Directors MI and KPI reports
Key skills include

  • Experience working within a Coordinator, logistics or scheduling role
  • High standard or numeracy and English skills
  • Excellent PC skills across the MS suit (Excel, word, outlook, powerpoint)
  • Experience taking inbound and outbound calls
  • A flexible approach to negotiating and a willingness to be able to work to time sensitive deadlines is essential.
  • Be a problem solver and ready to think outside of the box
  • Well organised and used to a fast paced environment.
