Grade 7 (points £25,409 - £26,845
37 hours a week
52 weeks a year

The Governors of St Paulinus are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and outstanding property maintenance operator to join our School from the end of January onwards.

The proposed, but negotiable working pattern, is 6.30am-10.30am and 2.30pm-6pm, Mon-Fri. This is an all year-round role, so working during school holidays will be required.

  • Be a good to outstanding caretaker, who has a range of skills
  • Be innovative, creative and forward thinking and show good problem solving skills
  • Have high expectations of property maintenance and management
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Have excellent understanding of the importance of keeping good records and keeping up to date with new standards
  • Work in partnership with staff, governors, parents and the wider community.
  • Be hard working, enthusiastic and committed
  • Be able to work as part of a team and can manage a team
  • Have, or be willing to undertake, training in key areas such as COSHH and fire safety.
  • Be committed to our Catholic ethos and the wider life of our school (Catholics and nonCatholics are welcome to apply)
