The Royal Victoria Infirmary Catering Department have an exciting opportunity for a part time Catering Assistant, working 25 hours per week, between the hours of 10.

00 to days over 7 working on a 2 weekends out of 3 roster

  • Interview date: 31st March 202 25 Hours per a week

As a Catering Assistant working in retail you will be responsible for supporting and working as part of the wider catering team during and throughout service

The role involves a wide range of duties regarding food preparation and service of food and beverages in a busy food environment

Duties will include preparing salad items, hot and cold food provision making customer beverages, cash handling,

Following guidelines to ensure accurate portion control

Supporting the team to ensure the department is clean and tidy at all times and fully compliant with the food safety/food hygiene regulations also compliance with food safety management systems and ensuring that all customer service requirements are met

Retail services are available for staff 24 hrs per day

Also to undertake any identified deep cleaning requirements as requested by the supervisory/management team.

Removal of catering rubbish and food waste.

Please note this role involves moving and handling.
