We are currently looking to recruit a UK Head of Facilities Management and Procurement who will be responsible for the SIG Facilities management, maintenance programme and procurement functions.

What does the role involve?

As UK Head of Facilities Management and Procurement you will have responsibility for the FM, Property Maintenance and Procurement services.

You will lead the tendering process for any future FM contracts around Hard FM, Waste, Cleaning, Utilities and Security.

Whilst maintaining the highest level of integrity and professionalism you will ensure that Group Accounting Procedures for tendering are adhered to and comply with Group Auditing Procedures.


  • Be a member of the IWFM or hold an equivalent qualification
  • A qualification in management/leadership would also be an advantage but is not essential.
  • Experience within a retail and/or multisite environment.
  • Experience in the field of Maintenance and Facilities Management.
  • A strategic, logical approach and be experienced in dealing with strategic initiatives and sites of significant importance.
  • Have a proven track record in managing relationships at all levels with the ability to influence and negotiate at a senior level.
  • Have excellent leadership and people management skills, plus experience of leading a diverse team.
  • Strong commercial negotiating skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Skills in Project Management and reporting
