Description

Function as a member of the Multi-disciplinary team in a co-operative and collaborative manner to assist in the delivery of all aspects of patient care and participate in the achievement of performance outcomes.

To provide assistance to the registered practitioners in contributing to the delivery of a high standard of patient care, by ensuring that cleaning and preparation work is undertaken to meet the service demands.

To safely transport patients between operating theatres and other clinical areas.

To assist in the preparation, cleaning, maintenance and stocking of the operating department reporting promptly to the team leaders any stock deficiencies or equipment failures, which may hinder or impede the efficient provision of Theatre Services.
