*About this role*Due to an increased workload in Northern Ireland, CB Contracts are currently recruiting for an experienced estimator to our team.

*Business Overview:

CB Contracts (NI) Ltd are a Belfast based flooring, painting and hygienic cladding sub-contractor with over 35 years' experience in the construction industry.

We work throughout the UK on large scale commercial projects with some of the biggest main contractors in the country.

*Key Responsibilities: - Assessment of incoming tender enquiries to determine prioritisation of all tenders.

Liaise with Senior Management to determine suitability of tenders based on work stream, programme, location etc.
Analyse drawings, specifications and other documentation to prepare comprehensive written build up cost estimates.
Use of digital measuring software to take off quantities for fixed price tenders.
Prepare handover documents and host handover meetings with Operations Teams on award of contract.
Maintain relationships with existing clients and seek out and build relationships with new clients
Keep detailed records of all enquiry documents and analyse trends from same
Work with the client on value engineering options

*Knowledge / Experience: - Third level qualification in a related discipline and/or previous experience working in a similar role within the Construction Industry.
