Our client is aa large local government organisation and looking for an experienced 1st Line Support Analyst to join their team.

This is initially a 3 month contract

You will

  • Triaging starters, movers, and leavers requests in the ITSM tool.
  • Assisting new starters who are experiencing difficulties with there accounts or
hardware.

  • Assisting users to configure corporate iPhones and iPads when migrated to
exchange online.

  • Accurately and clearly document fixes to technical issues,
process/procedures and update all IT-related records to ensure colleagues
can perform their duties using this documentation.

  • Monitor incoming queues on for the User access Team and perform initial
triage of all calls.

  • Take ownership of and resolve calls assigned via STS ITSM tool.
  • Identify problems, log problem records, and communicate appropriately.
  • Provide on-site, face to face support.
  • Be part of virtual teams working on this assignment.
  • Provide cover for colleagues in other teams as and when required.
  • Provide cover and/or work outside normal working hours (08:00 to 18:00)
and on occasion at weekends.

  • Accurately and clearly document fixes to technical issues and update the IT
knowledge base, enabling colleagues to quickly resolve any future
occurrences of similar issues using this documentation.
