Purchasing Executive to join our team as we grow our UK business.


Area/Department description:


Diggia are an international engineering group who provide a suite of services over a range of renewable energy assets; in particular electric vehicle charging infrastructure, ground mounted and rooftop commercial scale and utility scale solar PV, energy efficiency improvements and battery technology.

Since 2002, we have developed different projects at a global level helping companies and public administrations with innovative, sustainable and human solutions and services

Your mission:


  • Define and oversee the department's strategy.
  • Regularly report on the status of projects and department matters to the Corporate Director and Operations Director.
  • Oversee daily management with suppliers and partners.
  • Actively source new suppliers and negotiate any associated purchasing conditions.
  • Assist with the preparation of new offers and contracts.
  • Regular liaison with project managers to assess the needs of the project.
  • Analyse and approve comparative purchases sent by project managers.
  • Review and approve purchase documents in accordance with project requirements.
  • Conduct internal reviews of purchasing conditions with relevant departments across the Group.
  • Assist with the approval of purchase documents.
  • Coordinate the internal administrative management of the purchase documentation e.g. registration in Navision.

Your profile:


  • Previous purchasing experience in relation to PV projects
  • Previous experience with managing relationships with UK distributors
  • Coordinates and collaborates with departments and stakeholders across the Diggia Group.
  • Displays a proactive attitude and ability to use initiative in order to work autonomously.
  • Demonstrates analytical skills and logístical management that is necessary for projects.
  • Ability to resolve problems when they arise.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in order to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrates a very good level of spoken and written expression.
  • Shows curiosity and is creative when it comes to proposing ideas and solutions.
  • Demonstrates strong organisational skills.
