Transport Planner


Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Transport Planner to join our team.

As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the movement of goods and materials within our supply chain.

This is a crucial role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule transportation routes to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to optimize logistics operations
• Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost savings
• Track shipments and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Resolve any transportationrelated issues or delays
• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities
• Utilize computer software, including Word and Outlook, to create reports and communicate effectively

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred
• Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze data accurately
• Leadership skills to effectively coordinate transportation activities

Pay:
£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
