Age UK Sheffield provides high quality services, tailored to the needs and wishes of individual older people.

We have recently secured funding to expand our activities provision to provide
stimulating activities to
older people in a hospital setting.

This is a real opportunity to make a difference and we are looking for experienced, creative and passionate individuals to join our team.

Activity Coordinators - 25 hours to be worked across 5 days Monday to Friday between the hours of 9.30am and 3pm

£ 22,685 pro rata - £15,645 actual plus pension and 30 days annual leave plus public holidays (pro rata)


Do you have experience of supporting older people living with long term health conditions including memory loss and dementia? Would you enjoy getting to know individual customers and their life stories and relish the opportunity to design and deliver individual and group activities that maximise wellbeing and independence.

Do you have the skills and experience to create an empowering environment where people support each other, pursue activities and develop new interests? The successful applicants will enjoy raising aspirations, listening and facilitating conversation and delivering fun imaginative and motivational individual and group activities in a hospital setting.

Cognitive Stimulation Therapy and Dementia Stars training will be provided.
