Early Years Educator Apprentice - OAKDIN KINDERGARTEN LTD

To work as a member of the nursery team, showing initiative and creativity to foster an environment which encourages the children's all-round development and where high standards of care and safety are provided.

Apprenticeship summary

Monday to Friday (shift pattern to be agreed at interview)
Wage: £5.28 per hour

Expected Duration: 19 months

Training: Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Standard

Key responsibilities

Here at Oakdin we are looking for a caring and compassionate individual to care for approximately 20 children age 0 to 5 years.

We are committed to providing top quality care and education for children who are in our care. Our goal is to treat every child in our care uniquely and to enhance their lives.

Organise activities or implement a curriculum that allows children to flourish independently to enhance their personal, social, emotional, physical development and knowledge and understanding of the world.
Keep records of children's progress routine and interests to meet the highest standards and expectation set by Ofsted.
Supervise and monitor the safety of children at all times.
Be a reliable member of a team, working cooperatively and with flexibility. Understand that each child is an individual and have a general understanding of childcare and child development.
Observe each child's progress and report on achievements looking for progression and continuity. Highlight children's Assessments, as per Manager's requests.
Assist with the supervision of children at play (indoor and outdoor) and at mealtimes.
