Are you a finance professional looking to widen your experience?
The duties of the Accounts Assistant will include the following:

  • Ownership of Credit Control across Dealer, Commercial and Retail channels
  • Administration and reconciliation of incoming credit card payment receipts
  • Ownership of direct debit receipts process and associated postings in Access Dimensions
  • Dealing with customer queries and assisting in the returns administration process for retail customers
  • General support to the management accountant and wider financeteam, helping to answer queries received in the shared finance inbox
  • Providing holiday cover and backup support to the finance team, specifically in the posting of invoices, and bank reconciliations
The ideal experience of the Accounts Assistant will include the following:

  • Experience in Accounts Receivable
  • AAT Qualified or equivalent demonstrable experience in a finance function
  • Customer service skills relevant to a credit control function, liaising with customers who are often running small, ownermanaged business as well as large corporations
  • Experience of using IT systems and databases e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel, Salesforce
