Production Factory Operative

ProAmpac Grimsby Ltd is continuing to expand and are looking for Production Operatives to join our team.

Applicants will be trained in all aspects of the setting up and running of either conversion, pre-press or lamination machines.

Previous work with production machinery within the food industry would be advantageous.

The positions require the ability to problem solve, complete process control and quality documentation and ensure required standards and running targets are achieved.

Full in house training will be given offering excellent long-term future career prospects. Working 12.25 hour shifts 5.45am to 6 pm or 5.45pm to 6am, working 7 days over a 2-week pattern.

Applicants must demonstrate a self-motivated approach to their workload, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A meticulous eye for detail and a high level of accuracy is required in recording of information to meet quality standards.

Previous experience within a food environment is preferable, but not essential.

Starting rate is £10.50 per hour with potential to rise to £13.50 per hour working through our internal grading systems.

Overtime pay is rated at time and a half.
