We have a fantastic opportunity for a Receptionist to join our team here at The Village Group

Due to career progression and some new home moves for our existing team we are now looking to find our next super star to join our hard working but fun loving team where our clients and their pets are at the heartbeat of everything we do.

A passion for animals, client care and a fabulous personality is the most important thing to us because you will be the face of The Village Group where our clients become family and their pets are VIPs.

We are looking for someone warm and open who can stay calm and professional in challenging situations, someone who naturally goes the extra mile and someone who doesn't mind getting stuck in with any task.

If your idea of happiness is being covered in pet hair by the end of the day, from making a fuss of all our clients petswe would love to hear from you.

This is a hands on role especially at branch practices so you will need to be confident in handling animals.

We are a sociable team who laugh together, socialise together, bake for each other (we love cake), look after each other, do sponsored activities together and more so we are looking for someone to join our amazing team and not just fill a role.

Previous veterinary receptionist experience would be preferable but not essential.

Main duties would include:

Answering the telephone, booking appointments and processing prescription requests
Dealing with clients at the reception desk, taking payments and dealing with enquiries
Accurately recording client and animal information on our IT system, so good IT skills would be preferable
Cleaning duties are involved

The salary for this position will be in line with National Minimum Wage +3% cost of living increase.
