An opportunity has arisen for the position of a Patient Pathway Co-ordinator to join our Cellular Pathology Department at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated applicant who will act as a patient pathway co-ordinator, working with the team to ensure cancer and MDT targets within the department are maintained.

We currently hold UKAS Accreditation, an HTA Licence and are an IBMS training laboratory.


To act as a patient pathway co-ordinator to ensure cancer and MDT targets within the departmental pathway are being met, recording and auditing relevant data in line with National guidelines.


The post holder will work as part of a team, facilitating the flow of work through the laboratory to consultant investigation and MDT review.


The role will contribute to the provision of a professional clinical laboratory service, working effectively as an integral team member and to undertake duties to support the Biomedical Scientists.
