If you have answered yes to any of the above, read on

Teaching Assistants play a vital role in the life of our schools, helping our children to make the most of every school day and to achieve their full potential.

By delivering pre-planned work with individuals or small groups of children, learning is broken down into smaller, accessible steps, enabling pupils to be inspired, challenged and motivated.

Implementing clear boundaries and routines, Teaching Assistants use behaviour management in all areas around school, guiding children to help them to develop friendships and relationships with their peers and other adults in the school community.

Support and training is provided - there is even the opportunity to obtain formal qualifications so if you want to you can progress in your career - so all you need to succeed is a genuine commitment to children's learning and the motivation and ability to learn the techniques required.
