Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable Van Driver to join our team.
The Van Driver will be responsible for transporting goods between locations, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries, and maintaining the vehicle in good working condition.
Duties:
- Safely operate a commercial van to transport goods
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members
- Load and unload cargo, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Perform pretrip and posttrip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to traffic laws and maintain a safe driving record
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Delivery or Van Driver
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive in various weather and traffic conditions
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical duties as needed
Job Type:
Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay:
£11.90 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
