The Role:
- Provide parttime leadership and strategic direction for the SEN department.
- Work collaboratively with teachers to identify and assess students with SEN.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to meet the specific needs of each student.
- Monitor student progress and make adjustments to support plans as needed.
- Liaise with parents, external agencies, and other professionals involved in student support.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the school's SEN provision.
- A qualified and experienced SENCO with a proven track record of success.
- Excellent understanding of the SEN Code of Practice and a strong commitment to inclusion.
- Proven ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- The flexibility to work parttime hours
