Hybrid-Working (WFH + Lancashire one day per week):


  • Market Rates (c£45K to £55K):

The Opportunity:


Skills and Experience:


  • A minimum of 3 years' commercial experience as a Lead Test Analyst
  • Energy sector experience, particularly around smart metering would be beneficial
  • Experienced in leading/managing a team of testers (or aspirations to do so)
  • Strong stakeholder management exposure
  • Previous experience of working within an Agile/Kanban methodology
  • ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing (or equivalent education/industry qualifications)

Role and Responsibilities:


  • Manage your team's capacity, availability and ensure knowledge is spread throughout the team
  • Contribute to the resource planning for releases, working closely with the Product Owner, Agile Delivery Manager and other Test Team leads
  • Set up and configure test environments in readiness for test activity and maintain the integrity of the environment during test execution
  • Create and execute test scenarios using an inhouse testing tool ensuring 100% coverage of planned testing
  • Provide support for functional issues identified in production, using initiative and knowledge of the solution to investigate, articulate, and resolve
  • Identify, log, and monitor defects using the company's Defect Management Tool (Jira); maintaining the automated regression pack and constantly look to increase test coverage and improve its efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of our uSmart software solutions
