WHAT TO EXPECT:


This role will support the Manufacturing Digital and Innovation team, ensuring the delivery of critical technology improvement programmes/projects across the existing systems architecture.

Typically, this will involve the identification; planning and co-ordination of Manufacturing Digital and Innovation projects, ensuring effective & efficient delivery of Manufacturing Digital and Innovation solutions that will transform Industrial Operations moving into the future.

Depending on size and complexity, this role will be expected to work across several different projects simultaneously, managing time effectively, prioritising tasks accordingly in order to deliver the desired outcomes


International travel will be required to support the deployment of new technologies, embed change within the business and help the teams achieve the required operational readiness.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working with IT & Industrial Operations support the development of Industrial Operations Architecture projects pipeline aligned to the overall technology strategy this includes identification, scenario mapping, business case assessment, planning, develop/review/approve project artefacts and project approval activities.
  • Responsible and accountable for the delivery of Manufacturing Digital and Innovation solutions that meet the requirements of Industrial Operations and are also compatible within the wider JLR operating framework.
  • Work on projects and work streams; from scoping to delivery and including crossfunctional engagement and stakeholder management, ensuring project delivery to required timescale, quality and cost
  • Coordinate project activity to review processes, procedures, work instructions and systems with the ultimate goal of ensuring they are both fit for purpose and compatible with Jaguar Land Rover's Global Operating principles.
  • Establish cadence that ensures delivery & reporting of projects that are being led by the Industrial Operations Architecture team.
  • Establish and support an effective project management governance, including milestone reporting, project status reporting, financial reporting and risk & issue management
  • Deliver projects utilising project management techniques to ensure the delivery and achievement of planned outcomes identified within each project to support the achievement of strategic business objectives.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Previous experience & proven project delivery capability, managing multiple, complex projects with a large number of stakeholder groups
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship management skills


  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to present complex data & issues to a varied audience
  • Able to facilitate the resolution of complex crossfunctional issues within the organisation
  • Analytical skills to identify how one issue can impact on another and put in place the required interventions through support or from own knowledge base
  • Experience of Problem Resolution using structured approaches
  • Computer literate
  • Full UK Driving License
