THE ROLE


The Maintenance Engineering team deliver a wide range of work and this position could be exposed to all of these activities.


This includes but is not limited to:

  • OLI/1 inspections (pigging of High pressure pipelines)
  • Data compliance and remediation of Cathodic Protection (CP) systems
  • Technical support in pipeline integrity issues
  • Contractor management for delivery of Environmental surveys including remedial actions as well as providing engineering support to the wider Southern Maintenance team

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Pigging (Oli/1 inline inspection)
  • Cathodic Protection (Ideally trained to a minimum of ICorr Level
  • Contractor Management/project delivery
  • Good working knowledge of SGN's policies
  • Good IT and communication skills
  • Strong drive for personal development
