Job Overview
This Apprentice Bid Co-ordinator role is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills whilst gaining real world experience in a forward-thinking, growing company.

Within your role you will support our bid team, liaising daily with our clients in transport planning / engineering consultancies, local and central government, and the charitable sector.
- Filtering tender notifications (provided by third party) to identify suitable bid opportunities
- Assessing specifications to calculate resource requirement and inform cost calculations
- Formatting quote templates to reflect client specifications
- Producing standard templates for tender submissions
- Submitting tenders in line with company pricing structures
- Building and maintaining a catalogue of tender questions / responses
- Reporting summary bid process data to senior management to assist commercial review process
Throughout your learning and beyond, you will be supported in your role by a mutually agreed, dedicated mentor which is separate from the line management process.
Regular personal development reviews (PDRs) will keep you on track and help to ensure that the role brings out your best and you grow within the position.
What skills will I learn
On this BSc (Hons) Graduate Apprenticeship in Business Management degree, you'll study topics covering Strategic thinking, supply change management, Finance, Ethical Governance, Business Analysis and Technology and Innovation.
The BSc (Hons) Graduate Apprenticeship in Business Management degree will also teach you how to collect, manage and analyse data for improving business decision making.
What qualifications or qualities are required?
- You must be legally entitled to work in the UK for the duration of your course
- Minimum educational qualifications as required for GA course entry (likely BBBB at Higher level including English and preferably Mathematics)
- You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You will be able to demonstrate quality focus
- Knowledge of standard MS suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook)
