Role Summary


Responsible for carrying out all daily operational activities and ensuring consistent, concise information flow with customers and group airline departments.

Ensure that all flights are ready for on-time dispatch and conform to Company and legal requirements.


Responsibilities
Support/assist with crew requirements e.g. accommodation and transportation as appropriate. Respond to aircrew enquiries. Update daily theflight crew management system.

  • Carry out all departmental administration to the required standards, timelines and regulations.
  • Proactively manage resources in the operational period to achieve a safe, efficient and ontime operation.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all sensitive information and data received in the OCC is maintained at all times in accordance with good practice and legislation.
  • Maintain professional standards and behaviours in accordance with good practice and company policy.


Responsible for flight watch ensuring that all movements are recorded in a timely manner and any disruption is highlighted to the OCC Shift Supervisor immediately.


  • Maintain a weather and NOTAM watch appropriate to the network and communicate risks to the OCC Shift Supervisor.
  • Ensure all planned flights have a filed flight plan in accordance with the operational schedule.
  • Ensure that all required flight documentation is available to aircrew.
  • Assist the supervisor in providing operational direction to Line Maintenance Control ensuring maintenance actions are tailored to meet the requirements of the customer with mínimal disruption.
  • Carry out the following tasks for adhoc flights and disrupted schedules:
  • Arrange / change / cancel ground handling as required
  • Obtain / change / cancel runway slots as required
  • Plan routes and revise flight plans as required
  • Ensure all customer and internal reports are completed and distributed on time and in full.
  • Assist with customer enquiries as required.

Academic/Educational Requirements

  • Educated to 'A' level or equivalent

Required Skills/Experience/knowledge:


  • Minimum 2 years recent Aviation Operations experience, preferably in an airline operational control or crew planning environment
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of flight planning, FDP Limitations, Weather reports & NOTAM's
  • Proven ability to work under pressure
  • Use of aviation specific computer software including flight planning and ops control
  • Effective and proven positive interpersonal skills and a demonstrable ability to work within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal)
  • Proven problem solving & Planning skills
  • Attention to detail and numeracy skills.

Salary:
£24,239.00 per year
