Description

My client a well established manufacturing business based in Burnley is looking for a number of Machinists to join their production lines on a temp-perm basis.

These roles involve working a 3 shift rotating shift pattern, 6-2 / 2-10 and nights 10-6.

The main purpose of the role is to support the manufacturing operations in a variety of areas across the site as required by the business.

There is an initial focus in the machine and lamination department.

Full training will be provided.

Duties would include:

Cutting cardboard to specification on machinery
Removing waste from machines
Moving stock from the working areas to allow machines to run effectively
Complete check sheets properly
Manually loading and unload cores into machines
Ensure that the workplace is tidy, clean, orderly and meets company standards
