Purpose of the Role


You will be accountable for ensuring the maximisation of IAG Cargo's revenue, by managing a team to optimise the contribution generated from a group of our global Sales Regions, ranging from the British Airways Hub of UK&I to Latin America or Asia Pacific.

We will ask you to lead your team in determining and implement pricing and market strategies to deliver commercial targets (including revenue, yield, and Load Factor).


Key Accountabilities
The following will be key to your success

  • Lead and inspire a team of analysts to deliver contribution targets through their role delivery.
  • Define and deliver market Pricing Strategies to ensure the team delivers optimal pricing, based on historical and market information.
  • Promote close monitoring of competitor activity and Market share sources and ensure rapid response to changes in the competitive landscape

DUTIES

  • Regular and adhoc analysis to drive key decisionmaking activity in Revenue
Management at IAG Cargo

  • Coordinate delivery of local RFP's across the regions
  • Collaborate effectively with commercial functions to identify and drive new initiatives
  • Ensure strong utilisation of both capacity and pricing agreements
  • Actively engage with the continuous improvement agenda across the department
  • Become a key interface between Revenue Management and Sales for your regions

Skills

Analytical;

essential in maximizing Market revenues in this role.

Influencer; negotiating and managing stakeholders across the business will be a key
element of your day to day work and you need to have confidence in your decisions

Team Leader; Ability to coach and develop a team in a high performance leadership environment.

Self-starter; able to work on own initiative, make decisions and implement across
wide regions with clear planning and reasoning for changes

Target driven; ncentivized by commercial targets and IAG Cargo Financial Plan


Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level with formal analytics training an advantage.

Experience
Essential

  • Educated to degree level
  • Evidence of ability to make decisions and judgements based on detailed analysis
  • A strong team player with the energy and drive to achieve the team's objectives
  • Delivering change through motivating people
  • Manage conflicting and changing demands in a high pressure environment
Desirable

  • Experience of working in Revenue Management
  • Experience of working with other group departments, for example Sales
  • Experienced people manager with a passion for people development
