    Job Description

    We are seeking a Data Product Manager to play a key role in the development of our strategic data roadmap.

    This involves acting as a data evangelist within the organisation, building relationships across the business with stakeholders and SMEs, and demonstrating what data can do.

    The successful candidate will balance strategy, governance, and implementation of data initiatives, prioritising projects that ensure clear communication.

    Responsibilities include translating large data initiative requirements into smaller, actionable workstreams, collating requirements, and translating them into user stories to deliver iteratively with an emphasis on goals, product vision, and value realisation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain a backlog that delivers value against the product roadmap
    • Ensure data is a primary consideration in all initiatives
    • Represent data in the design and implementation of new projects
    • Monitor competitor activity and overseas market trends
    • Regularly present to the business through show & tells, weekly roadmap sessions, and quarterly business reviews

    Collaboration with the Lead Product Manager is essential to understand future demand and direction of products. This role requires effective communication, relationship-building, and strategic thinking skills to drive success.
