Band 5 ready for the next step? Dysphagia competent and looking for personal development? We are looking to recruit and develop the right person.

Are you an experienced therapist who is passionate about working with swallowing and communication across acute medical wards? Looking for the next step and opportunities for longer term development?

We are an expanding service with teams working across all areas of acute and community care. We have established SLT teams in acute stroke, ESD, rehab, community, head & neck and voice and critical care. We have access video fluoroscopy and FEES, with opportunities to develop competencies in this area if desired. We are a forward-thinking team and provide opportunities to develop and innovate services, this includes personal development and research.

As a developing Specialist Speech and Language Therapist you will develop your skills and participate in workshops and further training.

You will be an active member of dysphagia workshops provided by the wider team to support the development of skills in this area for more junior member of the team.

You will be expected to provide placement opportunities for students and support newly qualified practitioners.

We have a robust leadership and supervision structure to support professional development and personal wellbeing.

We have access to a large supportive admin team and benefit from being part of a large SLT service which includes children's services.
