Senior Architectural Technologist - Belfast, United Kingdom - Hyphen
Description
If you enjoy working in a collaborative and multicultural environment and are looking to advance your career, we're looking for experienced and enthusiastic
senior
architectural technologists to join our growing international practice, (a World Architecture 100 firm), in
Monaghan or
Belfast.
We encourage all our employees to work at the highest standards of professionalism whilst being self-reliant and showing independence of thought.
- Most of our projects pass rapidly from concept to completion so you'll experience a wide range of job phases, including valuable site experience.
- Each of our local offices are relatively small so you'll quickly feel part of a friendly, supportive team, and get to work closely with senior colleagues.
- Our international network means you'll be given the opportunity to collaborate with Hyphen's offices across Europe and Latin America and work on interesting projects for worldleading clients.
In addition, our
hybrid working approach means that you'll be able to work from home for up to three days each week with the remaining time in our
Monaghan or
Belfast office.
The role
As a senior architectural technologist at Hyphen, you'll typically be engaged on a major client account, working with a range of stakeholders (both in and outside the business), and managing a project team.
A large proportion of our work is based outside the UK and Ireland so travel opportunities are available for those wishing to experience working on projects somewhere new.
Your skills and experience
- A minimum of five years' experience, preferably across all project workstages in a relevant sector.
- A good understanding of UK, US or EU permitting and construction.
- Strong design skills and technical knowledge.
- Solid working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Confident verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent team working skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
- Great organisational and management skills, with the ability to manage internal project teams, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Fluent in written and spoken English (proficiency in one or more additional languages would also be advantageous).
