We are based at Romsey Abbey CofE Primary School, providing early years care and education to children aged 2 to 5yrs, term time only.
We are looking for applicants who are:
- able to work Mondays 7.45am till 4.15pm and Wednesdays 7.45am till 3pm, term time only.
It is desirable, but not necessary for applicants to:
- hold a Forest School Leader qualification
- hold a paediatric first aid certificate
- have extensive safeguarding knowledge
- have experience in observing, assessing and planning for a key group.
As a member of our team you'll be able to work independently using your own initiative and as a part of a team to provide high quality care to the children.
Communication skills are a must to be able to communicate to children and adults, including parents, carers and other agencies.
You will be responsible for a key group of children, and must provide observations, assessments and planning for your key children, including liaising with parents, SENCO and other agencies.
All of the team are expected to take part in outdoor learning, so must be prepared for all weathers.As a small team, we all work together to ensure a safe environment, where all staff carry out roles and chores that are required.
Training will be provided for the successful applicant.Job Type:
