Description
We are seeking an experienced leader to join our growing intelligence team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our counter-fraud team, as we are undergoing significant change as the fraud environment evolves.

As the Intelligence Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of experienced Intelligence Analysts. The Intelligence team provide a fraud prevention service through counter-fraud screening, intelligence reports and administration of counter-fraud databases.

We collaborate with the wider industry to process and circulate intelligence from the Insurance Fraud Bureau, law enforcement, and other organisations within the insurance and financial sector.

Counter Fraud Handler


Location:
Sevenoaks (Hybrid optional)


Working Hours:
Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm, 37.5 hours per week

Salary:
£25,000 - £28,000 per annum, plus £2000 bonus potential per annum, achieved quarterly


What you will be doing:


  • Develop and track KPI's, objectives, audits, monthly 121's, and appraisals
  • Drive operational and strategic performance of the intelligence team
  • Facilitate and optimise the detection, investigation, and dissemination of opensource and counterfraud intelligence
  • Contribute to the continued improvement of counter fraud products
  • To facilitate the ongoing development of counterfraud intelligence sources and industry relationships
  • To build and develop an understanding of the fraud landscape and develop counterfraud measures accordingly
  • Lead the promotion of data integrity across the business
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies such as TCF, GDPR and FCA regulations

What we're looking for:


  • Substantial leadership experience is essential
  • Great communication and people skills
  • The ability to develop and drive performance through KPI's, audits' and objectives
  • The ability to develop relationships well
  • Exposure to counter fraud, intelligence, and financial crime is essential
  • Awareness and understanding of financial crime legislations and regulatory compliance
  • Exposure to counter fraud databases such as SIRA would be beneficial
