General Operative
Our client, a leading company, is in search of a
general operative to join their expanding team.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Putting up safety signs, ladders, and barriers
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment
  • Driving dump trucks, forklifts, and other machines
  • Operation of packaging plant
  • Prepacking of products for dispatch
  • Repairing of pallets
  • General yard duties including yard maintenance
  • Health and safety awareness
  • Maintenance of a tidy and safe working area
  • Operate and carry out job set tasks
  • Use best/safe practice on all tasks carried out
  • Ensure safe tidy place of work
  • Ensure the completion of works is on time
  • Implement best practice procedures
  • Communicate with site management
  • Communicate with site supervisor on any health and safety concerns
  • Give feedback to site management with near miss/close call reporting
