We are an expanding and enthusiastic company running a number of café outlets at busy tourist locations across the North Cornwall Coast.

We have centralised our food and Gelato preparation within a kitchen in St Minver, North Cornwall.

We are a seeking positive, hardworking, delivery driver to support the daily delivery requirements of our Café's.

With support and guidance from the kitchen, the role will include collating orders, stocking the van and delivering morning supply to all our sites.

There will be a small element of food preparation and assisting with storing on site.

Once you have returned to the kitchen the van and delivery equipment must be cleaned down ready for the next day.

You will also be required to assist with stock rotation, ordering and putting deliveries away. There could potentially be scope to assist with further food preparation once delivery duties are complete.

You will be part of an encouraging, dedicated team, however there will be times when you will be required to work alone, nonstandard hours (early mornings especially) and thus without direct supervision.

You must be well organised, with a passion to deliver high quality products whilst demonstrating an ability to work in a clean and tidy environment.

Our peak demands are during summer season and school holidays.

We are therefore seeking individuals with the ability to be sufficiently flexible and enthused to handle the busy periods while maintaining focus and attention on high standards.

You will need:

• Full Clean Manual Driving Licence.
• Be organised.
• Be a team player, supportive and possess good communication skills.
• Be flexible and show commitment to the role.

Desirable:

• Level 2 food safety and hygiene certificate
• Have good knowledge of stock control and food safety.

Job Types:
Part-time, Zero hours contract


Salary:
£8.00-£11.50 per hour
