MENTAL HEALTH WORKER

It's an exciting time to join Brathay's Counselling Team as we grow to extend our reach and deliver even more life changing interventions for children, young people and families.
As a Mental Health Worker, your focus will be the delivery of crisis intervention calls, working closely with a partner organisation to support calls made by young people from across the Bradford District. Your contribution in this role will be key to the development and provision of services to children and young people with mental health needs.
Education and Qualifications:
Essential
A relevant Level 3 qualification and/or equivalent experience
Current and clean driving licence, for vehicle insurance purposes
Safeguarding Level 1

Desirable

Working towards a professional qualification as a children's workforce practitioner (e.g. Youth Worker, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Healthcare Practitioner or Counsellor)
Safeguarding Level working and an agreed working pattern.
