Description

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen at a successful Manufacturing business in Warrington for a Controlling Accountant to join the finance team.

You will be a key member of the controlling team providing planning and analysis support for industryspecific management of the business.

If you are looking for your first move from practice, and have a strong audit background, then we would like to hear from you.

Equally you will have experience working within a very similar role and industry

Main Responsibilities

Financial analysis and reporting for informed decision making and high performance
Control and preparation of budgets, forecasts and other planning processes (eg. Strategic planning)
Prepare investment decisions and related business cases
Reconciliation of Global/ EMEA data to local systems
Maintain and develop business intelligence systems and solutions
Ensure compliance across the division to Rules of Procedure and internal audit requirements
Be a qualified accountant
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate across business functions
Have external audit and internal controls experience in a large corporate environment
Have the ability to deliver output on time in a pressurise environment
Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Hours: 35 hours, Monday - Friday (Hybrid working available)

33 days annual leave (including statutory and bank holidays)
